Styled Spring Picnic

A sunset portrait shoot at Sauvie Island, with splashes of bright red to herald in the spring season —

As with so many of my concepts, this one was inspired by a dress — I found this one ages ago at an estate sale, and have been waiting for the perfect spring day to pull it out. The pattern immediately reminded me of that classic picnic blanket look, and I wanted to accentuate with other red elements that also reminded me of spring. Together with some fresh strawberries and a seasonal bouquet by my friends at Coy & Co., Morgan and I set up at this empty Sauvie Island park and watched the sun go down.
