Artsy + Earthy Couples Portraits
EMILY + JACOB
What an honor it was to capture these two artists within their native element — a small section of their apartment was dedicated to Jacob’s pottery, and the walls were adorned with Emily’s photographs. Their beautiful dog, Charlie, met me at the door and stayed close by the entire shoot.
Styled in earthy, utilitarian clothing, we three romped around their neighborhood and up the steps of a nearby historic building for this shoot. Although they have now moved out of Portland, I have no doubt that they’ll make a home wherever they go together.
