Cozy Couples Shoot at Home

Hana and Evan welcomed me into their Portland craftsman abode one wintery morning for this couples photo session. They have wonderful taste, and every corner was earthy, green, and vintage with modern touches. They styled themselves in matching tones — I always advocate for neutral styling, but the most important thing I tell anyone planning any type of shoot, is to dress in something that makes you feel comfortable and confident.
The absolute highlight of this shoot were their dogs, who occasionally made an appearance. As an obsessive cat mom myself, I always love when I get to meet people’s pets and include them in the photos —
they’re a part of the family too!
