Elopement at Kennedy School Hotel
CHELSEA + CHAZ
Chelsea and Chaz were one of the many couples I encountered in 2020 whose plans were thrown into the air — they decided on forgoing a traditional wedding for now, and instead opted to elope by themselves in Portland.
These two planned a long road trip from California all the way up through the Pacific Northwest, stopping in Portland for a few days to elope and soak in the fall colors. They stayed at the historic Kennedy School, which is restored and maintained by McMenamins. The hotel was largely vacant due to the lockdown, so we had the place to ourselves.
I absolutely love the way these two did things their way — from their matching velvet outfits, to their roving honeymoon. I wish these two all the best!
