Cottage Portraits in St. John’s

The location for this shoot was the botanical Airbnb that Madison stayed in while she was visiting Portland from Seattle. Having been a fan of hers for a long while, it was so nice to work together and get to know her offline. We used every inch of this place for these photos, including the tub! We also spent some time shooting in Cathedral Park — while this wide-open location is one of my old haunts now, I never get tired of bringing new visitors to marvel at the tall teal bridge and the seasonal wildflowers that blanket the park in spring and early summer. It’s definitely unique, and one of north Portland’s best-kept secrets.
