A couple of years ago, I read a poem and couldn't help but imagine that poem visualized as some sort of little video, with the poem itself as the underlying narration — since then, I have storyboarded five poem videos, and this is the first of them I have finished — I've already filmed a second one which I’m editing at the time of writing this. I'm starting small, and I've already learned so much about this whole process.

An incredibly huge shoutout to Sarah for being an extraordinary collaborator, from working on this choreography with me to lending her voice to the narration!

This poem by Yrsa Daley-Ward evokes such ethereal imagery and it has been repeating in my mind for months now — please go check out her work, it's breathtaking.
