“On the Road”

I’m fascinated by how many photos I’ve found that were taken just off the side of a road. I don’t know if these were taken on a roadtrip, on a regular commute, or even what made them pull over. I have a few that I think may be related following the same sage-green Volkswagen bug — I think these are the first and sixth slides included in this compilation, and I have a couple more featuring this car. I love how universal the urge to capture what would typically be a fleeting moment appears to be — the need to remind yourself of the journey once you arrive home.
