Harper Coats — Three Looks
Fashion Photography Lookbook for Harper Coats —
Harper Coats is a new sustainable, cruelty-free outerwear company based in New York City.
For this collection showcasing their three original designs, I wanted to put together three distinct scenes that represented authentic looks and locations that the typical Harper wearer might find themselves in. Harper prides itself on making coats that are high-end, durable, and transition through whatever life throws at you — they’re even machine-washable!
For the white Brunch Puffer, I wanted the bright, clean design to stand out against the rugged nature of a typical Pacific Northwest forest — styled with a cozy cardigan and casual shoes in a warm neutral palette for a more everyday feel.
The January Parka, seen here in black, is Harper’s warmest design. I knew the Portland skyline at sunset would be the perfect backdrop for this lovely mid-length coat. I finished styling the look with cream-colored accessories, and captured these on a hotel rooftop and the waterfront park.
The third look, featuring the Uptown Puffer in olive, was shot at a coffee shop — with a latte, newspaper, and tote with fresh florals to set the scene. I chose a pale pink sweater to lightly contrast the dark green coat, and added lace-up boots to bring this outfit down to earth.
