Among the Thorns

This floral photoshoot was a collaboration with my friend and favorite makeup artist Mara Midiere. We dressed up our friend Anna in a vintage jumpsuit and jewelry, and Mara transformed her into an ethereal, glowy creature. As a bit of dainty camouflage, we added flower petals and whole buds to her temple and cheekbones. We took full advantage of golden hour at Peninsula Park in Portland, Oregon, which is in full bloom from May to July.
