Rose Garden Darling

A fantasy of a young ingenue, traipsing through Portland’s International Rose Test Garden.

Anna, the subject of this shoot, reached out to me with a concept in mind — she told me “I love for my photoshoots to have a theme; to feel like a performance and to tell a story.” She wanted it to be “about a girl longing for her long lost lover” with a romantic, ethereal, Greek goddess vibe, which I was obviously immediately into. And even better, she already had some outfits and accessories ready.

I absolutely love when people come to me with an idea, and especially one that aligns with my own style as much as this one does. I can fully see myself picking out this outfit and styling for her — thank you to Anna for being so down for this and bringing your entire self to this session.
