Portraits styled in a warm neutral palette, juxtaposing soft and rough textures —

Sometimes, it only takes one special item to inspire an entire shoot concept. Primarily, the inspiration for this series with Omar was this sheer, chiffon blouse — I found it while shopping at a secondhand store in my hometown, and had been hoarding it in my closet for the right project. Similarly, I was also holding onto this vintage school chair in my basement for this moment. With the addition of a few complimentary wardrobe and prop pieces, it all came together on a hilltop above Portland, Oregon.
