SHOOT NOTES —

I was lucky to be able to hop on this shoot with Hanan to style Lesley while she was in Portland for a beat during her busy travels. He sent over some fashion photos he was inspired by, and they all featured layers and lots of texture. I pulled a few pieces in a pastel palette that complemented her red hair — for the first look, I layered a pink blouse and pink skirt over a white dress — this pink blouse also added a cool layer when tied around her waist. For the second look, I went simpler with a light teal lingerie robe with lots of movement, and grounded it with a more structured skirt made with a much thicker material. I really love how this all-film shoot turned out, both in color and B&W.
